FULL-TIME
REMONTE/NY OFFICE
Marketing Director
Role Overview
We are looking for a Marketing Director to define, build, and amplify Kai’s external and internal narrative as we scale. This leader will ensure that every touchpoint- whether with partners, users, industry stakeholders, or investors- reflects a unified, precise, and powerful story about who we are and the future we’re building.
This is a high-impact role at the center of our brand, communications, and go-to-market motion. You will shape how Kai is positioned in the world, influence how the industry perceives us, and ensure our internal teams speak with one coherent voice.
What You’ll Do
Develop Kai’s Brand Positioning & Narrative
Own the development of a clear, differentiated brand position that is:
Uniquely ownable by Kai
Rooted in major societal or industry trends to grow in relevance over time
Directly connected to our core business categories and long-term strategy
Translate this positioning into messaging frameworks, story pillars, and language guidelines used across the entire organization.
Lead All Marketing, External Comms & Internal Comms
Create or oversee all external-facing materials including pitch decks, announcements, product one-pagers, and sales/partner collateral.
Drive internal communications to ensure that as Kai grows, the entire team communicates with clarity, consistency, and alignment.
Own PR strategy- manage external PR firms, relationships with journalists and media, and all inbound/outbound press opportunities.
Oversee paid media efforts, managing agency partners, budgets, and performance metrics.
Partner on the Go-to-Market & Marketing Strategy
Bring a fresh, non–tech-centric lens to how Kai engages the market and speaks to its audiences.
Collaborate with Product, Sales, Customer Success, and Leadership to ensure messaging is relevant, grounded in customer insight, and never “talking to ourselves.”
Identify and develop new channels, campaigns, and market movements that expand Kai’s reach and influence.
Own Narrative Consistency Across All Stakeholders
Ensure that all teams- sales, partnerships, product, customer success, leadership- use aligned messaging and reinforce Kai’s core narrative.
Build scalable systems, templates, and guidelines so the entire company communicates with one unified voice.
What We’re Looking For
2–5 years in Customer Success, Support, Account Management, or Implementation (SaaS experience a plus)
Excellent communicator who loves working directly with customers
Strong problem-solver who can stay calm, organized, and resourceful under pressure
Comfortable juggling multiple accounts, personalities, and priorities in a fast-paced environment
Product-minded- you’re curious, you learn fast, and you like teaching others
Tech-savvy and fluent with modern tools (CRM, CS platforms, ticketing systems, workflow tools)
Nice to Have
Experience in proptech, high-touch platforms, transactional models, or renovation workflows
Startup or high-growth SaaS background
Comfort training users who aren’t always “tech-first” (contractors, field operators, etc.)
